Amendment  Recommendations<\/strong> <\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
VOTE NO on Amendment 3: <\/strong>Passage would repeal the 2024 voter approved reproductive-rights amendment; severely limit abortion access; criminalize doctors & put politicians in charge of private family decisions. <\/td><\/tr>
VOTE YES on Amendment 6: <\/strong>Passage will preserve the initiative petition process by making it a constitutional right and make overturning citizen approved issues more difficult.<\/td><\/tr>
VOTE NO on Amendment 7:<\/strong> Passage will create a public endowment fund for the purpose of eliminating taxes once funds are sufficient. Reaching sufficiency may take 100+ years and result in perpetual budget shortfalls. <\/td><\/tr>
VOTE NO on Amendment 8:<\/strong> Passage will mandate the election of all county sheriffs and prohibit the firing of a sheriff except by the state attorney general.<\/td><\/tr>
Vote NO on Proposition A<\/strong>: Passage will allow the unprecedented 2025 gerrymandered Republican maps to be used in 2028. If this measure fails, the 2022 maps stay in place.<\/td><\/tr>
VOTE YES on Proposition S<\/strong>: Passage allows STL County to levy a tax of $.05\/$100 assessed valuation to provide services to keep those 60 & older in their homes.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

These are unprecedented times which can feel chaotic and unsettling. Besides the move towards authoritarianism at the federal level, Missouri Republicans have chosen to deny voters representation and a voice in government.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

North County Democrats Meeting<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Date: <\/strong>November 11<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time: 6:00pm gathering & 6:30pm meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: Sports Caf\u00e9, 3579 Pennridge Dr, Bridgeton, 63044<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speakers: <\/strong>Hopefully it will be a victory meeting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meetings are the second Tuesday of the month. No meetings in July and August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
